Test any CDROM drive, measuring transfer rate, access time (min, avg, max) and bad sectors. Also allows comparison between various drives. By Henrik Ax - Site Moved!
CheckCD is a Windows utility to validate the content of files/directories. If CheckCD is burned to a cd, the content of the cd can later be validated.
How to use:
- Copy CheckCD.exe to the directory containing the files to validated.
- Run CheckCD.exe with command-line parameter /c. This generates a new file CheckCD.new.
- Delete CheckCD.exe
- Rename CheckCD.new to CheckCD.exe
- Run CheckCD.exe - the result
should be successful
